hi elizabeth, sure, for small samples. for all practical purposes to produce much flour i think you’d want a screen with more surface area. my experience is more with using the screens to exclude big stuff like wheat to make my little mint seeds or whatever more pure. r

    Question

    Jim

How does the mesh hold up over time? Is it welded or crimped, or just woven?

hi jim, we use the most robust grade of stainless steel mesh. I have screens that are 20 years old and still being used quite frequently. I’ve never had a hole appear in one of our screens. richo
