Question
Meghan –
Is there a medicinal preference between Polygonatum multiflorum and Polygonatum biflorum var. commutatum? I had originally been planning a large planting of commutatum for joint relief and ongoing propagation, but now these descriptors are making me reconsider! Thanks so much!

Are the roots larger in this species or the Polygonatum biflorum var. commutatum you also offer? Thank you!

hi scott, the giant solomon’s seal (Polygonatum biflorum var. commutatum) has the largest roots of any of the several specie3s I’ve looked at. The photos at this link are typical, and we are now shipping live roots: https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com/product/solomons-seal-giant-live-root-polyganatum-biflorum-var-commutatum-organic/
