Hi Patricia, they’re about 18 inches without the pot, nice sturdy woody bushes currently flowering. Richo

I have read that tall Oregon Grape has better outcome if seed sown directly into the ground. What is your experience? Also, do you have seed? I live in northern Idaho. Thankyou

Hello Roni, Thanks for contacting. Yes, you’re inquiring about the seeds but leaving the inquiry on the plants. This link will get you oriented: https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com/product/oregon-grape-tall-mahonia-aquifolium-seeds/
Regarding the lifespan of the seeds, 2 years under refrigeration. Yes, best results from planting recent seed in the fall for germ in the spring. I recommend reading the oregon grape monograph in “Growing Plant Medicine Vol 1” on page 245.
