(Spotted Cranesbill, Storksbill, Wild Geranium) Clump-forming woodland perennial native to Eastern and Central US .  Bearing showy, lilac flowers in the spring on the characteristically palmate dark-green foliage.  A pretty woodland perennial, companion to many other medicinals like goldenseal, cohosh, yam, etc.  Traditional usage (TWM):  Dysentery, diarrhea, infant cholera.  Plant prefers moist, woodland soils or regular shade garden conditions.  Space plants 1 to 2 feet apart.
