Eucalyptus, Tasmanian Blue Gum (Eucalyptus globulus), packet of 50 seeds
$4.95
Family: Myrtle (Myrtaceae)
Hardy to Zones 9 to 11
(Tasmanian Blue Gum) Native to Tasmania and the best choice for cold tolerance. Main species used for making oil of eucalyptus, this is an incredibly fast-growing tree with handsome, blue-green foliage in elegantly sweeping compound branches. I love my eucalyptus and rub its leaves and smell them often. Plant prefers full sun and bravely withstands dryish soils although it prospers better with some water input. Sow tiny seeds on surface, press in, and keep moist until germination, which takes 3 to 6 weeks.
50 seeds/pkt, Open Pollinated, Untreated, NO GMO’s

Hi!
Can we grow this eucalyptus as an indoor plant during cold season?

Hi Marilou, Yes, these are fun. They are quite distinctive even in the cotyledon stage and they grow well in pots for a few years until they outgrow the limits of the ceiling. They do like light and fast-draining soil. Richo
