Nick seed, soak overnight in warm water and plant 1/2 inch deep in fast-draining medium and tamp securely. Keep warm and evenly moist. Germination in 4 to 6 weeks. Work up in pots until large enough to withstand the rigors of the landscape. Plant trees at least 15 feet apart.
