Evergreen perennial native to the Mediterranean basin and a dominant plant on the island of Crete. Low-lying bushes to 18 inches with large, pink flowers, highly aromatic and spicy, used in the culinary arts in the same way as summer savory, winter savory, and thyme (which it somewhat resembles). Traditional usage (TWM): External–analgesic and circulation stimulant. Plant prefers full sun, a dry exposure, and fast-draining soil. Space plants 2 feet apart.

Hi Loren, Thanks for writing. Wow, you found this the day we listed it, and we’re pretty excited to have it. The plants are mounding to 18 inches tall and equally as wide. You’d have to find a sunny and well-drained place in a rain forest to make it happy. richo
