Forage peas may be sown fall or spring. Sow 3 lbs per 1,000 square feet; 45 lbs per acre. Grows to 5 feet tall. Tall field peas with broad leaves, excellent for forage, hay, or turning under. The tender leaves, flowers and pods are edible. We consume these in salads, tacos, etc. and truly do enjoy them immensely.

hi ed, yes, they’re organic, untreated, edible. i ate a lot of them out in the field this year as my shelling peas took a long time to mature. they were good. richo
