Biennial, requiring 115 days in the first season to produce a finished bulb

(Yellow Sweet Spanish Onion)  This is a day-neutral variety that is a good choice for producing large bulbs anytime, anywhere.  The skin is golden, the flesh white and sweet.  The bulbs weight up to a pound apiece and store well.  Sow in flats or directly in the garden.  Barely cover seeds, tamp securely and keep warm and evenly moist until germination.  Thin or transplant to 6 inches apart.  If starting early in flats, keep the tops trimmed back to 4-inches in order to encourage early bulbing.  This makes a great transplant!
