Onion, I’itoi Multiplying (Allium cepa var. aggregatum) plant, organic

$6.00

Family:  Amaryllis (Amaryllidaceae)

Hardy to Zones 3 to 12

Perennial monocot reliably producing clumps of green onions in even under the most severe conditions.  Drought-tolerant and spicy tasting, these are consumed primarily as a green onion.  This variety is originally from Spain and has become a Tohono O’odham heirloom.  Potted onions may be set to the spring or summer garden and will soon proliferate.  Divide, enjoy, cut and come again.  Give full sun and rich soil for fastest growth, fattest plants.

Potted plant, certified organically grown
