Nasturtium, Jewels (Tropaeolum majus), packet of 15 seeds, organic
$3.95
Family: Nasturtium (Tropaeolaceae)
Hardy to Zones 10 to 12, otherwise grown as an annual, 70 days to flowers
Vining annual. Not frost hardy. Native to Peru, Bolivia, Columbia and Brazil. “Jewels” is an heirloom strain with vibrant, multicolored, velvety flowers. The buds are pungent and edible. Direct-seed in spring or summer directly in the garden or grow in containers. You can plant nasturtium seeds up to 4 inches deep (that’s really deep) which will give them a stronger foundation and also provide more frost resistance, allowing a quicker view of smiling nasturtium flowers, a jewel more precious than gemstones.
15 seeds/pkt., certified organically grown

Honestly they are more sprawlers than climbers but you can get maybe 4 feet out of a plant under the right conditions. r

These are so gorgeous planted in the corners of raised beds. They form a cascade over the edge. Delicious, colorful addition to so many dishes.
