This plant is the saving grace hands down !!!!!!!!! It has saved my senior mom from COVID !!!!!!!!! She was able to breathe without pain in a week of taking it. One tiny cube goes into a pot of soup, about 1 liter or so. It is slightly bitter and carrot like in taste. The smell is wonderful. The leaves and stems are also used for salads or soups. The Native Indian tribes have used it for ANY upper respiratory problems. I am in Colorado – it is native to Colorado, zone 5b. You would definitely want this one in your garden. It is extremely hard to find organic rootlets of it and in the wild it is easy to mistake it for a poisonous plant, looking similar to it. Get it here ASAP !

I have forgotten to mention, the roots of this plant can be dried easily. The main thing is to clean well, cut up into very, very small cubes. Woven, without any glue or coating, bamboo trays are perfect for drying. It is important to have good ventilation, hot air and NO direct sunlight to preserve its medicinal benefits. One root has saved my whole family from Covid ! For any upper respiratory symptoms – it is the plant I go to !!!!!!!!!

What is the best time to set these plants out? Is now a good time, or should I wait until fall to order?

Hi Donna, I think by fall they’ll be sold out. These are 2-year-olds that have enough taproot on them to establish regardless of when they’re planted. I had someone complain last year that their plant died and then they got back to us in the early spring and said sorry, it had only gone dormant, its up again now and looking good. these plants are not in a hurry! richo
