Perforated inner cylinder with base (2-piece) for Strictly Medicinal Lab Press and Kitchen Press

Manufactured from 100% stainless steel, this perforated cylinder and custom base is our new invention, affording quick and efficient pressing of herbal tinctures and oils. This new assembly may be used to replace the perforated pan that came with your press, and will be standard equipment on our new line of upgraded tincture presses (to be released in 2019).

The advantages:
1) more holes giving increased surface area for liquid dispersal
2) thicker steel
3) softer bag contact surfaces, reducing bag wear
4) easy to clean
5) easy to disassemble and free stuck bags

Specifications:

Weighs 2.75 lbs, assembled
Diameter 4 7/8 inches (12.2 cm)
Height 7 1/8 inches (18 cm)
Holes 3/8 inches (5 mm)

Directions for use:  Snap the perforated cylinder to the stainless steel base and place inside the outer pan.  Put the pressing bag (sold separately) inside the perforated cylinder, pour in the macerating tincture, fold over the top of the bag, and press up.  Liquid will flow from inside the bag to the outer pan, out the spout to your collection container.  Easy action, efficient production, and easy to clean!

    Sandy C.

How difficult is this cylinder to attach? I just ordered your press and may order the perforated cylinder if it is easy to attach. Thanks!

Hi Sandy. You don’t have to attach it. You just put the perforated cylinder inside the outer pan and press away. richo

Hi Richo. What gauge steel is used for the cylinder? It looks really solid, but I am just curious. Thanks!

i would have to consult with our fabricators about this to give you the actual gauge. its heavy duty stainless steel that will not break or bend.
