(Conker Tree)  Native to the Balkans in Southeastern Europe, Horse chestnut is a stout deciduous tree to 90 feet tall, magnificent, with a spreading crown tipped by handsomely swollen, resiny buds.  An excellent choice for creating the mature landscape.  The nuts are employed for making Bach remedies and as a natural whitening agent used by dyers and weavers.  Traditional usage (TWM): low-dose botanical used for tonifying blood vessels.  We are supplying fresh, moist, cold-stored nuts freed from the pericarp, prepared for immediate planting.  Bury seeds 3 inches deep in rich, moist soil in the outdoor propagation bed or in a deep pot.  You can plant one to 3 seeds per pot.  Seeds planted in the fall to early spring will germinate and grow in the spring.  If seeds are already sprouted on receipt, plant 3 inches deep with sprout down and tamp securely.  The aerial parts will soon show.

3 seeds per packet, Certified Organically Grown
