I ordered last time in Utah, after moved to California, I still miss Strictly Medicinal Seeds Garden, I love to shop permaculture or real organic gardens. Hawthorn ( cook with hot water ) is good for blood pressure, heart and diet in winter. Listen to your body to see what they need. Btw It’s hard to find good quality. I will update soon for my recipes Hawthorn tea

Very interested in growing hawthorne. Only packets of ten seeds currently available here….Can these be planted?

hello hope, thanks for contacting. the hawthorn berries are currently unavailable. The seed packets contain seeds from the recent harvest that have been cold processed by soaking in water and rubbing to clean off the germination-inhibiting fruit. That’s why we recommend planting the packeted seeds. richo

      Greetings!
I was wondering if you plan on having dried hawthorn berries in stock any time soon. The intention and care you put into your beautiful offerings makes me a loyal customer. I’d prefer to wait rather than going elsewhere… but eventually I will be needing them 🙂 Thank you for all your efforts!

Hello Pati, that is very nice of you to say that. Hawthorn berries look good this year–I was just noticing yesterday afternoon that they’re starting to plump up and change color. It’ll be a little while yet–we get serious about these around first frost. Make sure to hit “waitlist” so you get the e-mail, and then please order promptly as dried hawthorn berries last usually 2 or 3 weeks max before they sell out. richo
