Sow July-Aug, 1/2 to 1 inch deep, germ in 3 to 10 days.  Thin to 18 inches apart.   Rich in vitamins A, K, C and manganese.  Champion makes long standing, waxy, dark blue-green leaves with white veination.  Non Heading.  The leaves taste sweeter once they’ve been frosted.
