    Blue Cohosh plants were excellent!

We are a small homestead in NW Arkansas, trying to encourage native colonies of plants on our property. Part of it is unfenced and recently my Blue Cohosh Colony was destroyed by some thoughtless 4×4 folks.. so I sent for the triple pack of plants. They arrived in awesome condition, with easily understood planting directions. I repotted them to larger containers and they are thriving! I hope to be able to re-establish a colony, tho it will take a few seasons. Thank you so much Richo and company! Well done 😊

  2. Question

Hi Richo, In your opinion, is this variety as effective in a topical pain application as traditional A. Belladonna? I’ve been using the traditional variety, but living in the deep south, I’d love to try this variety if it’s as effective. The more heat/drought tollerant, the easier on us. 🙂 Thanks so much for all you do! Kind regards! K

hello km, i recently researched this for the belladonna portion of the nightshade section of “Growing Plant Medicine Vol 2” and found it to be very similar to Atropa belladonna with a few different botanical subtleties that really make no biochemical impact. Most of the literature is in russian so that was a bit challenging. The 2 species are interchangeable. We got a good seed harvest on this this year btw. richo
