I just saw this as I was going to ask a question. I hope and pray all of you and your farm are, and stay, completely safe and free from all harm.

      That’s wonderful!
      Now I’ll ask my question.
      Which aloes are safe for
      internal use?
      Thanks

The three main medicinal (internally used) Aloes of commerce are: Aloe vera, Aloe ferox and Aloe arborescens. There are only three poisonous aloe species (Aloe ballyi, Aloe elata and Aloe ruspoliana) out of hundreds. However, Aloe is a strong medicinal plant. If you’re taking it internally, there should be some reason why. Just because you can eat it doesn’t mean it won’t have its effects–usually to emolliate and cause a bowel movement. r
