(Common Agrimony, Churchsteeples) Herbaceous perennial native to the temperate north.  Flowers yellow to 3 to 5  feet tall. Handsome, classic herb is a must-have for the mixed garden of medicinal herbs. Traditional usage (TWM): urinary tract infection.  Was once promoted as “musket shot water,” a source of astringent tannins.  Plant prefers sun to part shade, average soil. Space plants 2 feet apart.
