Perennial tree to 60 feet, native to Australia. This is a very fast-growing tree for warmer climes, and may be raised as a potted tree in colder zones. The leaves are long and green, the flowers occurring in yellow sprays, the seedpods twisted and decorative. Bark is a source of DMT. Tree prefers part shade to sun and fast draining soil. A great potted tree or landscape plant for frost-free areas.
