Annual.  100 to 110 days to maturity.  Upright bush bean grown most commonly to produce dried beans for storage.  They are best when slow-cooked, with superior texture and flavor.  Sow beans in the spring, in full sun, directly in the rich garden bed.  Push beans in about 1 inch deep and tamp.  Thin to 6 to 12 inches apart.  Keep weeded and water on a weekly basis unless rains do the watering for you.  All beans may be picked when young for fresh use.  Quincy is resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus, Bean Common Mosaic Necrosis Virus,and Curly Top Virus.
