Bean, Sunset Runner (Phaseolus coccineus), packet of 7 seeds
$2.95
Family: Legume (Fabacea)
Annual. 65 days.
Lovely peach flowers on vines to 10 feet give way to long pods filled with edible beans. These can be cooked up fresh or dried and then later soaked and slow-cooked. They are good. Standard runner bean culture–rich soils, full sun, consistent water, allow to sprangle or trellis. Once the soil has warmed in the spring to early summer, prepare a good seedbed and push the seeds in about an inch deep, tamp and keep warm and moist. Easy and pretty. Pretty easy.
7 seeds/pkt, Open Pollinated, Untreated, NO GMO’s
