Question
Akino –
I’m in the Appalachian/piedmont area. (zone 7) Cassia Alana should be grown in the pot inside? Or do they survive outside lower 20degrees? We have snowy days in January.
It’s amazing you have all the plants I wish to have!! Thank you, Akino.

hi akino, I had this question in mind when I left one of my larger potted S alata outdoors this year, to see if it would overwinter in my zone 7 garden. It rapidly declined, so think the answer is that they will not survive to 20 degrees and that they are best brought in for the winter. richo,
