Clumping perennial native to Eurasia, flowering white and yellow to a height of  3 feet.  This plant is similar to common yarrow (Achillea millefolium).  the main difference is that it is larger, with larger flowers.  The foliage is deeply cut and softly pubescent.   Traditional usage (TWM): vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and styptic. Plant prefers a sunny exposure, regular garden soil or poor, calcareous soils, and is extremely drought tolerant.  Sow in flat or direct seed. Germ. in about 8 days in warm soils. Grows vigorously in any kind of soil. Prefers full sun and requires very little water. Space plants 12 inches apart.
