Clumping perennial native to Eurasia, flowering white and yellow to a height of  3 feet.  This plant is similar to common yarrow (Achillea millefolium).  the main difference is that it is larger, with larger flowers.  The foliage is deeply cut and softly pubescent.   Traditional usage (TWM): vulnerary, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and styptic. Plant prefers a sunny exposure, regular garden soil or poor, calcareous soils, and is extremely drought tolerant.   Space plants 12 inches apart.
