(Oregon Coast Yarrow, Coastal Yarrow)  Native to the coast of Oregon and California, this is the largest flowered yarrow worldwide, with flattened heads that can reach 8 inches wide.  They are aromatic to the max, provide a heavenly retreat for native pollinators, are vigorous spreaders and protectors of coastal bluff and other lands threatened by erosion. Traditional usage (American Indian, TWM): astringent, hemostatic, antibacterial.  Plant prefers full sun and fast draining soils.  Space plants 2 to 3 feet apart.
