$39.90

Family: Nightshade (Solanaceae)

Annual:  80 days to harvest

A most popular yet maligned herb. Tobacco is a heavy feeder, and likes a well-fertilized soil and a side-dressing of good compost or rotted manure.  Sow seed in the spring or early summer in flats or directly on a fine seedbed.  Press hard into surface of soil (light-dependent germinator).  Do not allow to dry out or freeze.  Germ in 10 to 14 days.  Transplant or thin seedlings to 1 to 2 foot spacing.

Individual packets of Azteca, Night-blooming (Nicotiana alata), Hopi (Nicotiana rustica), Huichol (Nicotiana langsdorfii), Oneida (N. rustica),  Rapa-nui (N. rustica), Scherazi smoking tobacco (N. tabacum), Virginia Smoking  (N. tabacum), Tree Tobacco (N. glauca), Walker’s (N. tabacum) and West Indies (Nicotiana tabacum)

9 full-sized seed packets, Open Pollinated, Untreated, NO GMO’s (Price shown is at a discount)

Hello Phillip, Yes, these tobacccos grow great in the summer garden of an 8b to 9a. The reason they are not given zone designations is because they are annuala. Richo
