Tobacco likes full sun and a nitrogen-rich soil. Press small seeds into surface of soil and keep evenly moist and in the light until germination. Thin or transplant to 2 feet apart.

hi ginger, if you’ve ever grown and cured “hopi” before, this is similar. the plant has a more open habit, more free-flowering. tobacco needs to be left in the field until the leaves begin to go golden or yellow on the edge. cut at base and hang in eaves of shed or barn to cure. r
