If I am going to plant my Tansy Seed directly into my garden raised beds and also directly into the ground what would your planting advice be for success?

      Hi Jan,
Light-dependent seeds are best pressed into surface and kept moist until germination, then thinned to spacing. Tiny seeds like this are more commonly planted in pots, which provides more control and helps identify the seedlings. Mark your spot well. richo

Hi Jenny, Thanks for writing! Tansy seed is light-dependent but needs no prechill. Just sow on surface of flat or pot in greenhouse, press in hard and keep moist until germination. richo
