(Great Solomon’s Seal, Greater Solomon’s Seal) Herbaceous perennial forest dweller native to the Eastern States and Canada, distinguished from look-alikes by its large size and flowers drooping in pairs from the leaf axils that occur below the sweeping arm of the plant. Traditional usage:  TWM, joint pain/arthritis. True Solomon’s Seal grows at the ground surface and prefers shade garden or open woodlands, especially in association with rock outcroppings.
