Biennial or overwintering annual, requiring 60 to 65 days to maturity of roots.

Organic daikon radish seed is best sown as a fall covercrop.  The deeply excavating roots break up hardpan and improve soil tilth.  Excellent choice for rejuvenating overtilled, clay, hardpan and/or otherwise tired soils.

    I was wondering if this radish can be sown after frost kills everything off? I have two gardening areas and only enough peas and oats mix for one location and was considering Radish for the other.
