(Cypress Vine, Cardinal Climber, Cypressvine, Red Morning Glory, Cardinal Vine Creeper, Red Star Morning Glory Cardinal Creeper, Hummingbird Vine) Perennial creeping vine native to the tropics of South America. The plant is a fast climber, being one of the best of all possible hummingbird attractors, setting myriads of deep crimson, 5 pointed trumpets from early summer through late fall. Plant prefers moist soil, full sun, and a trellis. Will grow to 10 feet. Nick seed, soak overnight in hot water, and plant the swollen seeds the next day. The plants will thrive in regular garden soil. Fertilization is contraindicated as it will produce much green growth but retard flowering.
5 seeds/pkt, Certified Organically Grown, not available to AZ or AR states

I followed the sowing instructions and I had three sprout after only 2-3 days and the 4th one the day after. One was chomped on by a rabbit or something so it no longer exists. All right next to my 8 foot electroculture post! I solely bought these seeds because hummingbirds are supposed to go crazy for these flowers. Awesome!
