Evergreen perennial ground cover  hardy to  Zones 4 to 10

Native to Albania, growing to only 6 inches.  Plant is blue-flowered, an aromatic spice, leaves turning purple in the winter.  Plant prefers full sun, a dry exposure, and fast-draining soil.  Sow seed on soil surface in spring, tamp in and keep moist, warm and in the light until germination. A light scarification prior to planting will improve germ rate.  Space plants 1 foot apart.
