Question
JCal (verified owner) –
What size container can I repot into? Can the tree be container grown? What are the size limitations due to being grown in a container? Thanks.

hi jcal, normally i recommend repotting our plants to a larger container right away, but these are in oversize pots and they will be fine for awhile without repotting. trees tend to size themselves to the pot–eventually you can go to a 3 gallon, then 5 gallon, and the trees can be quite decorative that way, head-high, with fan-shaped leaves. i remember reclining under big ones in eastern san diego county–an oasis experience. r
