Do you think this onion is better planted as an overwintering crop? Can you point out any benefits of planting in fall? Thanks!

hi taylor, onions are biennials or overwintering annuals–the reason for planting in the fall is to get green onions in the fall or overwinter to make a seedcrop. for the purpose of growing big juicy sweet bulbs, you plant them in the spring. mine are up and running, looking forward to pricking them out to the field. r
