I started these early Feb here in 4b, and I didn’t count but germination was close to 100%. I’ll confess I was a bit grumpy about tending to the little ones for the first couple months, mostly because we were moving house and community garden plots, so there were many things to tend to and (please forgive me) I wondered if they’d be worth the trouble. Oh my goodness, what a delight it was to watch these grow! Stringing them up and all around the kitchen was one of the highlights in a harvest of many highlights. I hope to sow at least three times as many next year, because we gobbled em up by October. Thank you!
