(Anise Hyssop, Licorice mint) Short-lived herbaceous perennial native to Ontario and the central and near-western US. Beautiful, purple racemes are delicately aromatic, a fine tea herb with a sweet, anise flavor. Traditional usage (American Indian, TWM): Carminative and flavoring agent. Flowers 3 to 4 feet tall. Plant prefers full sun to part shade and moist, rich soils. Space plants 1 to 2 feet apart.

Agastache is self-fertile, you don’t need 2 plants to make seeds.
