Annual.  60 days to maturity.  May perform as a short-lived woody perennial in zones 8 to 10.

Native to the Anatolian peninsula and the island of Cyprus.  Flowers white or pale pink to a height of 18 inches.    Culinary spice used for flavoring pizza or the holiday goose, sausage, and myriads of vegetarian cornucopic delights.   Traditional usage (TWM):  antioxidant and carminative spice.  Plant prefers full sun and pot culture or regular garden soil.  Marjoram is the definitive plant for the kitchen garden and is excellent when used fresh or dried.  Diminutive but potent.  Space plants 1 foot apart.
