$4.95$43.55

Family:  Aster (Asteraceae)

Hardy to Zones 3 to 9

(Yellow Coneflower) Herbaceous perennial native to the Ozarks, flowering to 2 to 3 feet tall.  The paradox is that this “purple coneflower” is colored yellow!  The plant is rare and among all the myriad of yellow flowered plants, a really choice specimen.  These are large, showy, and long-lasting flowers.  Best to cold-condition seed for 60 days in moist medium in fridge before sowing in warm conditions, or sow in flats in the fall or very early spring for germination as the soil warms up.  Thin or transplant to 1 to 2 feet apart.

Packet contains 50 seeds
5 g contains ~1,500 seeds
