Native to a limited number of desert sites in the southwestern US and Mexico. Extremely rare and disappearing fast. Excellent indoor plant requiring little care and thriving on the windowsill. Medicinally similar to Cactus Grandiflorus. Plant is characterized by its white, fleshy taproot, grey-green stems, and impressive, fragrant, nocturnal flowers.
