    Bodhi Tree 💚

We are very pleased with our Bodhi tree. My husband cared for all of our kids. I did plant the seed late last year but hubby as already transferred the tree three times now and working on 4! We have only had our Bodhi in the greenhouse and now we are thinking it won’t make it outside. We are a zone 7. Thank you kindly for the seeds, education, and books you share and all the love you show to our sentiment family.

    Namaste,

  2. Question

Hi, after doing a brief search on minimum winter temperature for a bodhi tree and I’ve 50 f and 30 f which is a big range. Wondering if you’ve got any feedback which would support either (not asking for a guarantee of course). We get light frosts at times and it never goes below 30.

Also, are you likely to have these available in early spring. Thank you

hi dan, yes, we’ll have large, 9-inch potted trees in the spring, we really like growing them. We have these listed for outdoor culture down to zone 10, which is basically southern california and southern florida. so if you don’t live there, don’t put it outside for the winter. The tree is going to keep its leaves through light frosts but not through sustained freezing. Even a bodhi tree that’s been cut down to the base is going to resprout unless severely punished. As always the proof is in the pudding–get one, take care of it, and you will know. richo

Arrived beautifully and they both have adjusted and are thriving in the Peninsula region of the San Francisco Bay Area. They carry a special vibration and the aura feels magical. Extremely thrilled.

I got a nice plant from you. I want to know how much water it needs (should I water everyday/every other day or once a week). Right now it’s indoors next to window and gets morning sun.

The bodhi tree is full of sap and very resistant to drying out. Since the planting area is not very sunny then maybe best to water only once a week.
