Hi Richo. Do you ship plants to New Zealand? If so how can I pre order Ayahuasca . There are no options above to do so. Cheers Lloyd.

Richo Cech –
Here’s the unadulterated truth–New Zealand is destroying our seed shipments and international shipping of plants is not possible. Regulations have grown tighter and tighter over the years, until now many of the conduits of international commerce are squeezed shut.

Hi Richo. You are right . New Zealand laws are outrageously stringent on the type of plants allowed in the country. You even require a license to grow hemp. It’s always about politics, old ignorant ideas, and of course money.
Many thanks anyway.

Do you have recommendations for how to grow this? For example, what fertilizer does it like? I have been having trouble with mealy bugs and they went dormant over winter.

Richo Cech –
Hi Justin,
good question. mealy bugs lay eggs on leaves. All leaves should be checked frequently for any infestations and use neem to kill eggs. My suggestion would be to repot in fresh soil or better yet plant in a bed in the greenhouse and keep as warm and humid as possible. These grow best on a trellis in a warm and humid greenhouse, what we call a tropical greenhouse. Temp must never go below 55 or you’re lost. Banisteriopsis is a heavy feeder and likes fish emulsion, kelp and the like. They send their roots out horizontally so ringing the plants with mulch and compost can give luxurious growth.
