(She Gan) Herbaceous perennial native to China. Bright waxy orange flowers with black dots give way to elongated seed capsules that peel back to reveal the blackberry-like fruits. Very nice plants in deep pots. In the open garden, these are showy and long-lived.  Gophers and moles do not like the roots, and will leave them alone.
