Wisteria, Japanese (Wisteria floribunda), packet of 5 seeds

$3.95

Family: Legume (Fabaceae)

Hardy to Zones 5 to 9

Deciduous woody climber native to East Asia and Japan.  Valued for its incredibly beautiful and aromatic flowers that droop down like bunches of Elysian grapes, the vine gives a classic appearance and romantic fragrance to trellises, pergolas, throughways and the summer porch.  Traditional usage (TCM): antitumor.  The vines themselves are useful in rope making and are used in bridge construction in Asia.  Plant prefers a warm, sunny exposure and poor soil.  Excellent in large pots and half-barrels—root constriction encourages flowering. Excellent choice for large pots and half barrels.  Do not eat seeds–they are toxic.   Nick seed, soak overnight and sow warm.  Easy and volcanic germinator.

5 seeds/pkt, open pollinated

could you show a photo of or at least a very detailed description of the seeds. I was given some seeds and told that they were Japanese wisteria seeds but I’m not sure.
