Thyme, German Winter (Thymus vulgaris), packet of 30 seeds, organic

$2.95

Family:  Mint (Lamiaceae)

Hardy to zones 4 to 10.  May be grown as an annual, 90 days to harvest.

Evergreen woody perennial bush, a German cultivar.  We rate the culinary attributes of this plant equal to the broadleaf English type, and they may be used interchangeably, and probably no-one would be able to tell the difference in cooking.  Good source plant for making Thyme tea.  Plant prefers a sunny and dry position.  Barely cover seed and keep moist and warm until germination.  Prick seedlings to pots and grow out for 6 weeks or so before transplanting to landscape.

30 seeds/pkt., Certified Organically Grown
