Question
B. Wallace –
Hi. 3 months ago, I started tincturing a few herbs using Mr. Cech’s standard method, but haven’t gotten around to straining them. Given the extra long macetating time, do I assume that they all went bad? Or are they still consumable? Thanks for your time.

Hi, should be fine, nothing much happens in long maceration except when it is a fresh extract, there can be some undesirable breakdown of the tissues, it is just not a big deal, many people macerate for extended timeperiods with no trouble. r

Dear Mr. Cech,
Can you tell me when do you estimate the Epilobium Parviflorum is available? Can you please tell me where else can I find this medicinal herb out? Forever grateful.

Hello Denise, The only other place I’ve seen Epilobium parviflorum listed is B and T World Seeds. We had identification issues with our plant line on this species and discontinued selling due to lack of surety that it was properly identified.
