$4.95

Family: Mint (Lamiaceae)
Hardy to Zones 5 to 9
(Kashmir Sage) Herbaceous perennial giving rise to loose racemes of large, deep throated blue flowers in second year.  The plant flowers over a longer period of time than most sages. Salvia hians is a particularly robust sage, with resinously sticky foliage that gives off an enticing, fruity aroma, even at a distance.  Native to the Himalayas, the plant is used to make tea. Traditional usage (TCM): Secondary source of Dan-shen.  Plant prefers full sun and fast draining soil.  Sow in spring.  Use a fast-draining mix, barely cover seeds with soil, tamp securely and keep evenly moist and warm until germination.  Work plants up in pots and transplant to landscape at 1 to 2 feet apart.
10 seeds/pkt., Open Pollinated, Untreated, NO GMO’s

My Kashmir Sage is HUGE! It is beautiful! I think I bought the seeds about 3 or 4 years ago.
