Perennial in the tropics, otherwise grown as an annual–90 days from planting to field to maturity, and these do make peppers ongoing until frost.
(Tova, Covincho) Wild-type pepper native to Chile.   Compact plants, rounded in form, flowering white to 1 to 2 feet, sometimes travelling at ground level as a kind of groundcover, studded with the purple fruits that turn red at maturity.  These are similar to tabasco in form, detach easily from the plant at full ripeness, are quite tasty and very hot.  Standard pepper culture–get an early start.  Please note that as a wild-type pepper, germination takes longer on these seeds than with the common cultivars.  In 2022 we registered a 21 day germination period under lights.   We found these to be highly tolerant of cold soils in the spring and by the month of August we had plenty of fruits.  Easy to pick, thin-skinned, fast to dry, this pepper is a good choice.  Space plants 1 to 2 feet apart.
