An Italian cultivar grown here in our certified organic gardens, green when unripe and bright orange when ripe.  A robust bell pepper that impressed us from the beginning as a sturdy and trouble-free plant. The bell peppers themselves are juicy and tasty–best allowed to ripen and consumed fresh alone or in salads, or cooked in stir-fries or stuffed and baked. Plant prefers full to part sun, regular watering and a fertile soil.  Conical plants grow to 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Thick-stemmed, they do great in regular garden culture or in containerized culture.  Plants are very handsome, robust and resilient.  Space 2 feet apart.
