hi cindy, thanks for asking. they go out priority mail on monday through wednesday. since plants start out small and grow large, size depends on seasonal factors. we supply gardeners with the same starts that we use in our fields to produce the herbs and seeds that we sell. we aim to get you a fine plant. r

hello mone, yes, you have it right, now is indeed a good time to plant herbaceous perennials, including motherwort. We’re probably sold out on this and will have it again in the spring. richo

      Hello there,
OH yes, the blooms are actually very nice as cut flowers. They do get kinda prickly as they mature, though.

I live in Central San Antonio, Central-South Texas. Right on the libe between USDA zones 8a and 8b. It gets hot here, like 99-105° for about three months out of the year. Is this the best Motherwort choice for my area? Should I plant it in part shade?

Yes, the official type is most heat tolerant. Your intuition to go with moist shade is right on, i do see motherwort volunteering in woodland edges around here and it likes that. this is a truly great woman’s herb. r
